Veteran Owned Business Summit to launch GBI Emerald Vets Program

DECORATED MILITARY VETERAN, NFL LEGENDS TO LAUNCH CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN FOR GLOBAL INCUBATION OF VETERAN OWNED BUSINESSES

Thursday January 14, 2015 (Los Angeles) A global team being led by a dynamic executive triangle of military veterans comprising retired brass and a pair of NFL Legends is launching a crowdfunding campaign called GBI EMERALD VETS to bring entrepreneurship, self-empowerment and collaboration solutions to veteran owned businesses.

Retired Brigadier General Arnold Gordon-Bray, will take command of former soldiers Willie Davis (NFL Hall of Famer and business notable) and Rosie Grier (NFL Pro-Bowl, activist, actor/vocalist & ordained Christian minister) as they work with 10 business cluster leaders from California based Global Business Incubation Inc (GBI) to unveil an innovative cooperative virtual small business incubation program that uses scenario motion pictures to achieve military-grade teamwork and self-discipline.

GBI has convened a team of experienced veteran owned businesses on the campus of Loyola Marymount University (the 1991 original birthplace of GBI) to create a scenario motion picture film called, “Building the Corporation of the Future”, that is derived from the same researched blueprint that launched many Fortune 500 companies. GBI is now creating a small business support infrastructure that connects the national mission of “Rebuilding the American Dream” with the integration legacy of our military veteran leadership, former athletes, business professionals and America’s underserved youth and young adults (18–34). The program is being casted and filmed for implementation first in Las Vegas, Nevada and then in the Los Angeles/Long Beach region.

The launch date of the campaign has been designed to capitalize on the goodwill of the upcoming Championship Sunday weekend when four NFL teams will square off for their divisional title games. Mr. Davis and Mr. Grier first squared off against each-other on Championship Sunday in 1961 (54 years ago) while each played for the Green Bay Packer and New York Giants NFL teams respectfully.

Today, these iconic leaders are on the same GBI EMERALD VETS team, under command of Retired Brigadier General Gordon-Bray, in order to win the title for all veteran owned businesses that aspire to be a part of the “corporation of the future”.

WHAT THESE LEADERS SAY…

It is with humility and pride, I represent a consortium under Global Business Incubation (GBI), a 501(c) 3 veteran ran operation fundamentally focused on helping our returning veterans and the underserved succeed in business through Business Incubation. GBI’s model is amplified by, and in support of, the objectives specified under Nevada Governor Sandoval’s “Green Zone Initiative” and proclamation of 2014 as the “Year of the Veteran”

GBI’s goal is to facilitate the commercial viability and success of veterans and underserved innovation, talent, products, services and technologies, helping to “Rebuild the American dream” through job creation.

GBI’s model will serve to inspire our future leaders to strive to be, all that they can be…and more.

My experience as a member of the armed services and the National Football League has afforded me a unique understanding of the goals and aspirations embraced by the men and women who serve our country.

Our military champions (veterans) need us on their team…Please join me and our GBI consortium in creating a diversified, sustainable job creation ecosystem for our military Veterans, their families and our underserved business communities…an ecosystem much like that of the Green Bay Packers in the 1960’s lead by Vince Lombardi, my coach and mentor… “individual commitment to a group effort- that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work” and ”winning is not everything, it’s the only thing”……Vince Lombardi
